The 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin has an open floor plan in the den and kitchen, a queen size bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom, with a roll-away daybed available. A pack n play is available upon request. The bathroom is handicapped accessible. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, full size refrigerator and microwave. There is no dishwasher. There is a flat screen tv in both the den and the master bedroom with Directv. We have WIFI available. Sweet Olive Cabin is the perfect place for your girls' trip, honeymoon, hunting/fishing trip (in season/with license), anniversary or just a quiet place to spend quality time with your family! Here at Blossom Hill Farms, we want you to feel right at home! Sweet Olive Cabin can be a little difficult to find, especially in the dark. A GPS will get you close. The cabin is close to the road, Blossom Hill Rd. Often times, gps will take you to the property across the road, which hs a long driveway/levee over the lake. If you are coming in from the north, the cabin will be on the right. If coming in from the south, it will be in the left. Let me know If your eta is after dark, and I can leave the porch lights on for you. Upon checking in to Sweet Olive Cabin, you may be greeted by the owner/s and given a brief overview of the property. Owners live next door and are available by phone/text to answer any questions. Sweet Olive Cabin is in a rural setting and sits on 19 mostly wooded acres where there are trails for walking/hiking. Within 10 miles is Roosevelt National Park where there are hiking trails, bike riding, water park/swimming (in season) and fishing. There is no public transportation. Scott County is a dry county with beer available for sale or beer and alcohol for dining in at some locations. Sweet Olive Cabin is not a “pet friendly” property. We do, however, make an exception for registered service animals with an additional $25 fee. Fishing is available for an extra $15 per person per day. You provide your own equipment and bait. In Forest (5-8 miles), there is Vowell’s grocery store, Walmart, and many fast food restaurants. For eating in, try Foothills lunch/dinner with live music on Friday and Saturday nights). If you are looking for some genuine southern cooking, there’s The Garden Patch (open till 2pm M-Th).
