This Homestead caters for a maximum of six to eight guests Our family home Lazywood is yours to enjoy in true country style comfort and a touch of eclectic luxury The homestead was built in 1997 over a period of 18 months using 100 yo hardwood timbers sourced from a number of historic buildings and wharves in Brisbane. Built for entertaining and of course relaxing, the home opens out from a set of 8m wide bifold doors to a large entertainment deck overlooking an 18m lap pool and Bali theme gazebo and Bbq With plenty of space for family get togethers there are two separate living areas plus a media room and two bathrooms There is a large new open plan kitchen with a stunning 3 metre EuropeanGranite island bench top ideal for those wanting to stage a dinner party in style Quality linen and towels supplied including basic necessities such as milk butter local sourdough bread and an assortment of cheeses to get you settled in on your first night The Homestead sleeps eight guests with 3 bedrooms all with Queen beds, plus one or two double sized pull out sofa beds in each family room. The main bedroom includes a recently renovated spacious ensuite with 12ft ceilings floor to ceiling concrete tiles and a large light filled skylight An adjoining library off the main bedroom overlooking paddocks is perfect for guests after some quiet time Should you not require the Shed or Chapel during your stay the Homestead can be hired on its own catering for up to eight guests Both dwellings described below will be closed off during the short term lease August - September Dwelling two- The Chapel Caters for two guests This Historic renovated Chapel is perfect for couples within the 117yo timber building offering a beautifully comfortable queen bed ,hotel inspired linen perfect for the bride and groom or parents and guests wanting a little quiet time in a private setting tucked behind a local stone wall Wake up and soak in the view through the 3.5m arched timber doors opening out to the spacious covered deck with its own fire pit and newly added outside hot tub Dwelling Three- The Shed Caters for two guests An eclectic ply walled 12mx 6m colour bond building themed on a Tiny house design but more open plan perfect for either one or two couples with Queen bed to main bedroom and a sofa bed can be available for the lounge if friends are accompanying you Expansive 3.4m high bifold doors open out from lounge area to a private 5m deck offering peaceful views across the property to surrounding country side and a great fire pit for those chilly winter nights Guest access Access is allowed to all areas of the property within the fences surrounding main house due to horses in adjoining paddocks
