Description

The guest houses in the Wangeliner Garten can accommodate 2 people per room (with the exception of vacation room 5, which can accommodate up to three people). Each room is furnished with a double bed, table, chairs, a mini kitchen for self-catering and a private bathroom. You can book a baby cot during the booking process. From May to autumn, we open the simply equipped summer kitchen on the premises for our guests who do not have a... The space Best suited for 2 people. Accommodates a maximum of 3 people. Size: 32 m² Guest access The guest house with the holiday rooms is located in the Wangeliner Garten, a natural herb, show and teaching garden in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Here you can relax, stroll and enjoy nature. As guests, you have the opportunity to use the Wangelin Garden for only 1x entrance fee throughout your entire stay. The Wangelin Garden offers various events throughout the year. Seminars, workshops, action days, guided tours, concerts, exhibitions, markets, readings, herbal courses - you can find out what is going on with us on our website. Our garden café is open from April to October from Wednesday to Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and offers you a range of culinary specialties with a focus on herbs as well as homemade products from our factory. We look forward to seeing you soon! The village of Wangelin is located on the edge of the Mecklenburg Lake District, away from the main roads, so it is very quiet. The nearest major towns are Plau am See, Lübz and Meyenburg, 8 to 15 km away. Other things to note ... have cooking facilities. The barrels, as the unique, curved holiday accommodations on the Wangelin garden grounds are internally called, were built by a dedicated team led by Professor Gernot Minke. Completed in 2015, these guest accommodations are an extraordinary masterpiece. They are the first self-supporting barrel-vaulted building made of straw bales to be approved in Germany. Towels and linens are included. Since it can get very dark here in the countryside in the evening, a flashlight is useful. In the immediate vicinity is the Wangelin Garden, one of the largest herb gardens in Mecklenburg. It has grown into a special place since its inception and is enriched by sustainable, natural buildings, including your accommodation. As a guest, you only pay 1x admission and can use the garden during your entire stay. The nearest shops are in Plau am See, Meyenburg and Lübz. Unfortunately, pets are only allowed in our Gärtnerinnenhaus accommodation. Apartment no. 5 with a kitchen-living room and separate bedroom has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The first room, the eat-in kitchen (about 17 m²), has a unique vaulted interior design that conveys a special living feeling, while the second room, the bedroom (about 12 m²), impresses with its floor of air-dried clay tiles. In the rooms you will experience a special room climate, which is achieved by the combination of the clay plaster walls, the use of clay stones and a rammed clay floor or clay tiles. The kitchen, which is part of the room, offers you the opportunity to prepare simple meals. A refrigerator, hotplates, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and dishes are available. In the bedroom there is a double bed (180 x 200 cm, height 48 cm) and a single bed (90 x 180 cm). Bed linen is included in the nightly rate. Wi-Fi access is available in the café of the Wangelin Garden and is accessible during the day. For maximum relaxation, there is no Internet access in the rooms. Unfortunately, pets are only allowed in our accommodation "Gärtnerinnenhaus". We look forward to seeing you soon and wish you a pleasant time in the Wangeliner Garden!
