Garden Flat on the Park, Sanford Historic District

Jay along with his wife, Denny, would love to welcome you to Historic Sanford and this lovingly renovated 100 year old historic duplex on a beautiful park. Even before COVID-19 was a concern, we sanitized remotes, light switches, doorknobs, handles, etc....between every guest! Length of stay discount is available for a week or for a month long stay. The space The Garden Flat on the Park is the first floor unit of a two story duplex. Fully restored with new electric, plumbing, HVAC, and on-demand hot water heater. It is centrally located in a quiet historic residential neighborhood six blocks from the historic Commercial area. Sanford is very walkable and there are cart and trolley services that can help you get around. Guest access GETTING IN: You will get a code to access the flat via a message prior to your arrival. There are also pictures within the listing to help guide you. The unit is 101, it is the door on the right. PARKING: a lot of street parking available in front. Rarely though, street parking may temporarily not be available due to an event taking place at Venue 1902. If you find no street parking, there is space to park temporarily in the back from the alley by the garage, if needed. Since the garage is used, please park facing the bay on the right as the bay on the left is used more often. Other things to note This is an up and down duplex. There is a lot of insulation between both units and very little can be heard from one to the other but we expect our guests to be respectful of other tenants and the neighbors. There are screen on every window so you can open and enjoy the breeze! Checking out: please do not strip the bed and do leave the towels hanging. Rinsed dishes can be left in the dish washer, we will run it. We do expect surfaces and spills to be wiped up. For multi week tenants we do expect vacuuming once a week to keep bugs at bay. For multi month tenants we send in a cleaner every three weeks at our expense. Our cleaning fees are minimal. MAXIMUM number of tenants is One Couple. No third party bookings without prior approval. Coffee, tea, and sugar are provided for guests. Please see pictures for kitchen amenities. ***For security reasons we do not accept reservations unless you have a full profile, photo, and verification by AirBnB. ***You must be 25 or older to rent. ***No parties are allowed. ***Quiet time starts at 10:00 PM. ***This is an allergen free unit (ex: no pets, no scented candles, or spray, solid, or plug-in air fresheners are allowed). The owner is very allergic as are some of the regular guests hosted here. ***There are security cameras on the property.
