The neighborhood has an endless supply of restaurants, bars, vintage shops and art studios all within walking distance, but is calm and safe enough to feel like home. The space The room is large by New York standards, with a full closet and two big windows that fill it with natural light all day. There are blackout curtains to protect you from street lights and noise, heating in the winter and an A/C unit in the summer. The bed is queen sized with a casper mattress and the linens are fresh and high quality. The room is attached to the kitchen and eating area, which are freely available to guests. The private bathroom is for guest use only, however it is not en suite or attached to the room, it is attached to the kitchen. The apartment is a two-bedroom, but since the other room is occupied by the host, there will only ever be one room rented out to travelers at a time. The second bedroom is at the back of the apartment and has it's own bathroom, ensuring privacy for all. There is a wash and fold laundry service downstairs which is reasonably priced, fast and very convenient. Two blocks from the East River and Williamsburg Waterfront.
