Smalls Cottage is an idyllic waterfront property which sleeps 9. Set within a private location and with direct access to its own private beach, Smalls has one of the most glorious views in Salcombe. A few minutes walk from the property is the East Portlemouth ferry with frequent daily trips to Salcombe meaning you are never more than 10 minutes from walking through Salcombe's high street to collect your fresh bread, pastries & paper. The space The cottage has recently undergone extensive refurbishment works which unlocked and maximised the properties full potential whist remaining sympathetic to it's surroundings. The Large wooden gates, at the properties entrance, provide security and privacy and open onto a large gravel driveway with ample parking for several cars. Once inside, you will find a large boot room with plenty of space to store sandy shoes, it is also equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The main family kitchen is located on the first floor which houses an electric Aga, oven, wine cooler, integrated dishwasher and large dining table to seat the whole family. The separate sitting room provides plenty of comfy seating with a T.V and a log burner for those cooler evenings. The main bedroom with en-suite and bedroom two, both with king size beds, are found on the first floor along with a shower room whilst the additional bedroom with Superking-size bed, family bathroom and children's room (bunk beds + extra trundle bed with third mattress) can be found on the ground floor. The main attraction of this property is the outdoor space. There are two terraces to choose from for lounging in the sun, and taking in the views, one with L-shaped seating and fire pit table overlooking the hot tub, and the other has a dining table, plenty of seating and a gas bbq with views over the estuary. Opposite the property, on the other side of the road, is the gate that leads to the second private beach garden which opens out onto the secluded Smalls Cove beach. There's a section of the beach roped off for your enjoyment so you'll never have to worry about not finding a spot in high season. We love to welcome children to Smalls but we do recommend that you accompany small children near the water and on the beach at all times. Their use of the hot tub must always be supervised. Smoking is not permitted in the property. We do allow pets but please do message me prior to booking and advise what breed your dog is. A small chargeable fee of £50 per visit for pets. Please can you pay prior to your arrival and we ask that dogs are kept in either of the kitchen areas and off the furniture. We also have a few other essential items such as a coffee machine, hairdryer and hand soap for your use.
