Description
An idyllic country cottage at the end of a row of 4 cottages with its own private and secluded garden and spacious patio with a hot tub, all very private. It is near M65 motorway access just off Junction 13 and close to the thriving and popular village of Barrowford with lots of pubs and restaurants in the vicinity. You will love its relaxing and private feel immediately as well as the high quality furniture and interior decor with all modern amenities and the whole cottage for your use. The space Spacious modern kitchen with breakfast table seating for two. Separate utility room and downstairs toilet and open plan lounge/diner and quiet reading/work area, then spacious lounge area with double patio doors leading to pond area and views over hillside and countryside opposite. Decor modern and high end with leather reclining sofa, large, comfy chairs and TV with netflix etc. Two romantic bedrooms, one king size, one double and shower room upstairs. Outside there is a pond area, cottage garden with raised beds of fruit that you can pick when in season, (plums, strawberries, raspberries, rhubarb), seating area by hot tub and brand new hot tub which is totally private and secluded. Patio dining area with storage sheds. Private entrance can be found by walking up short path from allocated parking space adjacent to the row of 4 cottages (of which ours is the end one) and entering the black gate which opens onto the rear of the property, where you will find the key code entry lock on wall right next to the door. Security lights help guide you when its dark and will come on automatically. Guest access The cottage is up a hill, moving away from urban and village houses so views available, especially from upstairs main bedroom. Barrowford itself has many walks, a local and thriving pub and restaurant scene and many other hostelries nearby in Fence, Colne, and the Pendle Witch country villages of Barley, Roughlee, Newchurch and Blacko, all just a couple of miles away and steeped in history with fine views and walking. Also we are about a mile equidistant from Boundary Mill in Colne and Pendle VIllage Mill in Brierfield for eats, furniture, clothing, pottery and shoes. Other things to note 1. A Michelin Star Restaurant at Fence - The White Swan, run by our friend Tom Parker and his team, including Gareth as Maitre D' 2. Clitheroe and Skipton and North Yorkshire 3 Peaks are all about a half hour away. 3. Burnley football club fans and away match supporters welcome on match days of course!
