Beautiful, tranquil setting on Greers Ferry Lake in Higden Arkansas, close to Narrows Bridge. You'll cherish all the memories made at this special place we've opened up to guests. We know you'll want to return. The space Lakeshore Hideaway at Higden is our family lake home on Greers Ferry Lake in Higden Arkansas. It has 4 bedrooms, and 3 full baths + a half bath. We have a spectacular view of the lake, and the home has lake access by way of a path down. 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home has spacious living area. Perfect for your crew. Downstairs includes a great den / tv room, kitchen, beautiful outdoor patio, two full bathrooms, nicely equipped laundry room, and a bedroom with bunk beds and another bedroom with a full bed that is adjacent to a full bathroom with a tub. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms . One has a king sized bed, and the other across the hall has a queen sized beds. Upstairs "king" bedroom has the main ensuite bath that includes a spacious walk in shower and a large jet tub. The second upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed, with a half bath (toilet and sink). You'll love the beatiful living areas inside and out. Comfortable furniture enhances the down stairs open living area open to the kitchen and back screened porch. The kitchen has a nice sized fridge, stove cook top and oven, plus a microwave, air fryer, coffee maker, and other supplies you'll need to make your own meals. all the needed amenities you'll need for meals . There are two Smart TVs in the home. One is in the main family room / den downstairs and a second is up in the main bedroom with king bed. The large screened in back deck has some additional seating, and beautiful view of the Narrows area of Greer's Ferry lake. Downstairs out the back is a very large patio overlooking the gorgeous lake with some seating too. Our large "U" shaped drive has room vehicles and boats. We think you'll love seeing the sunrises from the screened in porch and large patio. There are stairs in to home to enter and stairs to a second floor in the home. The room with a queen bed upstairs has a slight step down in to the bedroom then another step to the half bath. There are also steps down to the bottom level patio. Yes, you can walk to lake. Getting to the lake is along a trail that leaves our property and crosses US Army Corps of Engineer property. Be careful getting down to the lake. Also - please remember, the property to get to the lake is not ours. Past the boundary of the "white line" the property is the US Army Corps of Engineers. Do not pick up stick, and do not throw trash or anything on US ACE property. Leave it exactly as it is. Walking on it to get to the lake is permitted. Guest access Guests have access to entire home. Our place is in Higden Arkansas - Not Greer's Ferry. Make sure you go to Higden Arkansas and not Greers Ferry. If you go to the wrong address ( A blue house is the wrong address) It is not far away. It is a little confusing because there are two exact addresses within a few miles of each other. Our home is in HIGDEN ARKANSAS. There are many games in the home and some areas in the driveway and under the covered back patio, and under the patio on a large lower concrete patio for games and gatherings too. Walk down to the lake. * Be careful walking to the lake. The acess to the lake is down a path across US Army Corp of Engineeer property. This property is not ours. There is an old rock path to take. Use seasonal precautions and be mindful of creatures like bugs and snakes in the summer. House info- You must be 25 to rent our home. Only 1 pet under 50 lb and must be house broken. Pet deposit will be charged. *No parties. No glitter. •To enter the home there is a coded door key safe. We will provde entrance code before check in. The home has internet and 2 smart televisions with Netflix and other popular streaming apps . Easy to use and uou can log in to your accounts . More info is in the home about the internet and television. •In the summer time the AC will be on 75* when you arrive. You can lower it of course, but DO NOT RUN IT NON STOP. It will over cool and freeze the unit. In cooler weather the HEAT will be on 63*. You may adjust it, but please set it back to AC 75*/HEAT 63* before checking out. • Other things to note Our home is in Higden Arkansas Not in Greers Ferry. * Camera disclosure- We have a ring doorbell that is at the front door pointed to the driveway. Another cell enabled "game camera" is out near parking area pointed at parking and front of home. There are no other cameras. Lots of fun games are in the home stored under the tv in the den area and on a shelf by the back door. Boat launch is at the Narrows campground about 5 minutes away. Closest marina is the Lacey's Narrows marina. Dollar General is just around the corner. For eating out -Boar House BBQ and Bentley's restaurant are both close by. The popular Janssen's lake front restaurant is across the lake about a 20 minutes drive ( it's closed most winter months) . There's a good grocery store, Cravens's, across the lake near Fairfield bay which is only about 20 minutes drive. Fairfield Bay has golf courses, restaurants, and hiking trails and a marina. The property that goes down to the lake is owned by the US Army Corps of Engineers, like all property around this lake. You are welcome to access it but do not litter, leave trash or anything. (Yes, they do monitor this) Walking to the lake is at your own risk. We do not allow events or parties. If the neighbors are disturbed you may be asked to leave. No refunds will be given if you are asked to leave. You must be 25 years of age to rent our home. •If the furnishings or the home is damaged, or if the home is not left clean, or left in disorder, trash not removed, personal items are left in fridge, or your dog poops in the house, we will have to keep the deposit for additional cleaning and damages.
