The beach closest to the house is rocky; we strongly advise that you bring water/beach shoes. The most ideal areas for swimming especially if you have children in your group are just a few more minutes down the beach. To get there, we suggest enjoying a short refreshing ride on the boats or balsas (floating bamboo rafts for rent) waiting on the water. There you will find local vendors offering a variety of water activities, such as banana boat rides, pedal-boating, jet-skiing, kayaking, snorkeling, and even fish-feeding! The azotea on the third floor is open to guests. Other things to note • Our weekend rate per night is ₱11K up to 12 pax (including children and day visitors). Weekday rate per night is ₱9.5K up to 12 pax. Extra guests: ₱500/head, MAXIMUM is 18 pax. • The house can comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests. If you will have more than 18 people in your group, we will not be able to accommodate that many (please do not send an inquiry for more than 18 pax). • Please enter the accurate number of guests before you send your inquiry or booking request or we will ask you to go back and fix it. • We do a head count at the house to maintain the registered number of guests and occupancy limit. • Before a booking is confirmed, we will require a copy of a current and valid/unexpired government ID. • The Municipality of Lian collects an Environmental Fee of ₱25 per head upon entering Matabungkay. • Free WiFi is available; however, it can be spotty depending on your location in the house. If you will need WiFi for work, we suggest that you bring your own backup portable WiFi device. • In case of power outages, the house has newly installed solar panels that can generate enough power for the lights, fans, and refrigerator. • No pets allowed—please do not send a message asking if you could bring one. • Strictly no smoking and drinking alcohol INSIDE the house and no eating inside the bedrooms. Alcohol can be consumed outside the house on the front patio or backyard. • Please pack your own towels and toiletries. • Cookware as well as kitchen and table utensils are available for your use. • No loud music or noise after 10 pm. • Please turn off the lights, fans, and the A/C when not in use or when leaving the house. • We suggest that you bring water shoes to protect your feet from rocks and coral especially if you will have children and seniors in your group. • When returning from the beach, rinse your bodies and feet using the outdoor shower. Shake the sand out of clothing and towels and off your feet before entering the house. • No wet feet inside the house, please. Do not bring wet clothing, towels, and feet into the house from the pool or beach. • Our caretakers live on the property in a separate quarter and can assist you in arranging any add-on rentals (videoke, boat/balsa, other beach activities). Note: these rentals are not included in the house rental fee. • Our caretakers' interaction with guests will be limited to the check-in and check-out process only. If you need assistance with cooking, dishwashing, or cleaning during your stay, let us know before you book so we can arrange these additional services for you. • There is a talipapa 5-10 minutes from the house where you can buy meat, fish, poultry, and vegetables. There are also small sari-sari stores nearby for miscellaneous items. You can order drinking water to be delivered at the house. • When you are ready to check out, please call the caretaker who will pick up the keys and do a quick walk-through of the house. • If your party inadvertently causes any breakage or damage to the house or its contents, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can resolve it quickly and your stay can be as enjoyable as possible. • There are external security cameras on the property. Pool Rules: • Children MUST be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult in or near the pool at all times. • Absolutely no running on the deck, no rough playing, and no jumping or diving into the pool. • Bottles, glass, and other hazardous objects are prohibited within the pool area. • No drinks or food are allowed in or near the pool. • Guests who are under the influence of alcohol are not permitted in the pool. • Guests using the pool or its surrounding areas do so at their own risk. We accept no liability for any accident, loss, damage, or personal injury, however caused, incurred from the guests' use of the pool or its surroundings.
