Artsy cafe in town, cute shops, antiques, a secret swimming brook, beautiful town pool. Lake w/ small beach near by. The space 1 hour drive to Cooperstown,NY, 2 hours to Albany . 1.5 hour drive to Hudson Valley. 30 minutes to Oneonta,NY Farmer makets on weekends in the area, and lots of Antique stores. Our House sleeps a total of 16 (more possible). Light and Airy modern Log House style home. 3 bedrooms on main level of house and 10 person bunk room located on lower level. Featureing an active wood burning fire place and open kitchen/dining and lounge area. 2 full baths. The master bath has a large freestanding soaking tub and rain shower. The shared bathroom has a spacious shower also with rain shower. Space is meant to be shared. Outside there is a HOT TUB. Also a covered porch ideal for mountain gazing and fittness. Also a fire pit surrounded by wood benches. Don't forget to check out the starry sky evenings, especially beautiful and bright in the winter months. EXTRA SPACE for ADDITIONAL 6 people - FOR EXTRA CHARGE - Carriage House: There is also a separate building "the carriage house" with a large recreation/dance room, featureing oak herringbone parquetry and exposed beams, and large full wall windows which is available for additional fee. @nd floor of Carriage house has additional 1 bedroom, 1 bath, living room, and kitchen. Sleeps upto 6, 1 queen bed, one foton sofa and one full trifold mattress. Guest access The house is located at the top of a hill. Driveway is packed gravel. Ussually all car types can drive to the top easily. Except in the winter, when there may be snow or ice, then 4 wheel/all wheel vehicles are recomended. Other cars can park at the bottom of the hill and walk up if needed. Parking provided on the top of the hill right near the main house. 3-4 cars can fit comfotably at the top of the hill parking area. There is additional parking available on the bottom of the hill.
