Enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and fishing on this peaceful, no wake lake. Elk Creek Lake is spring fed and very clean. This 100 year old home has recently been restored and updated with heated tile floor in the bathroom, expanded kitchen, while keeping the original charm. Bird and nature watching right outside the windows. You will often see eagles, Crain's, Blue Herring's, King Fishers and Osprey and may even spot river otters and beavers. Guest access Aside from the home and yard, guests have access to our lake toys and fire pit area. Stand-up paddle board, row boat, canoe, and 2 kayaks are available for guests' usage. Along with life jackets. Horse shoes and cornhole/beanbag boards provided. Other things to note This charming cottage is very romantic and a perfect place to enjoy some alone time. The home sits right on the lake so parents must watch their children as it is easy to fall in the water in several places. The lake is calm and the current is not strong. The home is over a hundred years old, and not set up for small children.
