The space We have enjoyed this home every summer and now want to share it. We are opening up some weeks during the summer as well as availability all year long. Fall is a quiet time on the lake but still warm. Enjoy sunsets from the dock or patio. There is great hiking within a mile, going to Silver Lake and Rattlesnake Point where you can see for miles and there is an established peregrine nesting area. Loons are active on the lake - wonderful serenade with their calls. This year we had eagles for the first time. Loons every night. Winter is a totally different experience. It is a peaceful time on the lake. We are surging driving distance of major ski areas. Ice fishing is a popular activity. You can walk out on the ice and experience ice fishing. They are passionate about their sport and will be happy to chat with you! Guest access You will have access to the whole house. There is a cottage that sits next to the house. We do not rent this out. Other things to note Our insurance company requires that all guests sign a waiver indicating that they will swim and/or use kayaks at their own risk. We will get you the form. We have life preservers, etc., but be careful, especially with kids. It is a great swimming lake and is usually very calm.
