Description
This cabin was built in the late 1800's. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed, one with a full size bed. There are two couches in the living room, one is a pull-out bed. All towels and linens are included. The bath has an efficiency-size bathtub-and the laundry room has full-size washer and dryer. Cell phone reception is spotty and internet reception is almost non-existent, hence there is no internet service/wifi. The TV has a digital antennae which offers a small amount of channels. The space The cabin sits back a long gravel drive giving visitors absolute peace and quiet. It sits across from the Kokosing Lake and campground. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, dishes, and silverware. Guest access Stroll the almost 100 acres of fields and woods. Please no hunting. Other things to note -The drive is gravel going through the woods and is subject to washout in heavy rain. 4WD/AWD is recommended in the spring and winter. -I do not provide paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, etc) for the duration of your stay, though there will always be some to get you started. -There is no door separating the main bedroom from the second bedroom. The second bedroom is only accessible through the main bedroom. -This is a cabin in the woods. Despite our best efforts, sometimes there are uninvited guests with 4-8 legs. If this “bugs” you, this may not be the place for you. -Early check-in/late check-out are available for a $25 fee each. Early check in is noon, late check out is 3pm, unless other arrangements are made. Subject to availability. -The cabin has woods on two sides and soybean/corn fields on two sides. If you are staying during planting or harvesting season, there may be large tractors/machinery planting or picking. These times are usually spring and late fall.
