The house is decorated throughout with original artwork by locally and nationally recognised artists. The space The master bedroom includes direct access to the deck and hot tub, and spectacular views out to the ocean. It also has a large ensuite shower room. The large, garden suite offers patio doors opening directly to the private garden and a view out towards the boat ramp. The sofa in this bedroom converts into a sofa bed if you wish to include a further guest beyond the number of beds listed. The third bedroom, with a view across Irby Boulevard towards the hills, includes a double bed, with single bunk above. All three bedrooms come with generously sized fitted wardrobes. The main living area includes a sociable stone top dining table, recliners, and cushioned rattan chairs perfect for reading while enjoying the view, or chatting to the cook. The house is named for the ancient continent of Nuna. The outcrop stretching into the ocean directly in front of the house consists of some of the oldest rock in the world. Similar protrusions at Rocky Cape to the west and the far end of Sisters Beach to the East, are geologically identical to rocks found in the Grand Canyon in the United States. Scientists believe that long before Pangea, came the supercontinent of Nuna, in the Paleoproterozoic Era, some 1.5 billion years ago. Back then this part of Tasmania was not connected to the rest of Australia, but to what much later became Arizona. On a rainy day, enjoy spectacular double rainbows across the ocean, or did into one of the board games, books and jigsaws provided. Until recently, Nuna House was a family home, and we are excited for you to be among the first to share our space. Note - There is a 1 bedroom self contained flat connected to the main house which may also be occupied during your stay.
