Enjoy a relaxing and romantic break in the “Little Wren” Shepherd’s Hut. A secluded escape for couples looking for time away. It is a private, handcrafted Shepherd’s Hut with a hot tub and fabulous views across the Ribble Valley. Set on its own in a hay meadow in the Forest of Bowland AONB and close to the market town of Clitheroe. Relax in the hot tub or, enjoy the panoramic view from the seating area on the deck. See more ….@littlewrenhut The space The Little Wren Shepherd’s Hut has all mod cons and comprises of seating for two around an oak table with a wood burning stove, hot and cold running water, glasses, crockery, fridge, hob, kettle and a microwave oven. The en-suite bathroom has an electric shower, small sink and a Victorian style flushing toilet and heated towel rail. There is a comfy seating area with fluffy cushions which folds down to reveal a cosy double bed with anti-allergy bedding. Cosy up and light the wood burner but there is an electric radiator for the days when you don’t want to light it. The location in the meadow allows you to escape, experience nature and unwind. A small deck is located in front of the hut with chairs and table. Relax and enjoy the hot tub (which is powered by electric so need to light it and wait for it to heat up) accessed across the decking. There is private parking behind the hut. When you are ready to explore there is great walking in the area, plan your route and join footpaths directly from the meadow. If you enjoy cycling there is mountain biking at Gisburn Forest and ebike hire for the less energetic at Dunsop Bridge, both approximately 15 minutes away by car. There is a wide choice of lovely restaurants to visit nearby. Guest access There is private car parking behind the hut. A car is essential. Other things to note The footpath runs alongside the hut so easy access for walking
