The space La Casa Caliente was thoughtfully designed as a place to celebrate life with family and friends, to cultivate connections with nature, and to harvest the abundance of Wine Country living. It is a place of sharing and generosity. Whether dining al fresco on one of the outdoor terraces, frolicking in the pool on a warm summer afternoon, or sitting in quiet contemplation in one of the many gardens, La Casa Caliente invites you to relax, recharge and dream. From the moment you enter the grounds, you instinctively know that you have arrived to a magical place. The mature oaks, abundant fruit trees, trickling water, birds singing and the lavender scented breeze all awaken your senses. Multiple garden pathways invite you to explore this new oasis. The home features multiple areas for gathering and for solitude, while always remaining connected to nature. Nearly all of the rooms open directly to the outdoors, and skylights throughout the house keep you connect to the sun and stars. The large solarium at the front of the house has multiple skylights and windows inviting in the views of the beautiful front gardens. It is an ideal area to gather and entertain, the perfect place for children of all ages to play and relax, with direct access to the west terrace and pool. The rear of the house is equally inviting, with a spacious kitchen where family and friends gather to create delicious meals from the fruits, vegetables and herbs freshly harvested from the gardens. The well-equipped kitchen boasts granite countertops, double ovens and a Thermador gas cooktop with a bbq grill and griddle. The expansive island has a built-in table for kitchen dining. Three sinks, under cabinet lighting, and additional barstool seating offer further utility. The kitchen shares space with an additional generous family room, which opens directly to the east deck and garden, and to the pool. The only challenge will be deciding where to enjoy that delicious meal: the spacious dining room with custom built-ins and wide plank hardwood flooring, one of the decks, by the pool, or a picnic on the lawn. Each of the two guest bedrooms have built-in closets and storage space, with doors opening directly to the backyard and pool. There are also two guest bathrooms in this same wing of the home. The primary suite opens onto the outdoors and features a walk-in closet, double shower with steam, double-vanity and a large soaking tub. The stunning landscaping is one of the many captivating features of this property. Fruit-bearing olive trees line one side of the driveway while majestic oak trees rest along the other side. You’ll find an incredible variety of fruit and citrus trees including: fig, cherry, pear, peach, nectarine and persimmon. The garage, sheds and a few interior closets and cabinets are locked, but there is still more than ample space for storing your personal and food items during your visit. A keypad entry system is installed which allows guests the freedom to come and go without worrying about any keys. Other things to note Located just outside the city limits, La Casa Caliente is minutes away from most amenities but feels like a world away from life's hectic pace. La Casa Caliente is fully licensed by the County of Sonoma to operate as a vacation rental: Permit Number ZPE11-0001. The nightly rate includes a mandatory 9% Transient Occupancy Tax. If you are interested in confirming a booking, you will be asked to sign and return a Rental Agreement. Notwithstanding any representations made by Airbnb, the cancellation policy is 90 days and is as follows: "If Tenant cancels in writing more than 90 days before Check-In Time, Tenant will receive a full refund (less a 3% credit card processing fee on the amount paid). If Tenant cancels in writing less than 90 days before Check-in Time, Landlord will try to re-rent the Rental Property, with a goal of receiving the total rent indicated in this Agreement. If Landlord is able to find a substitute tenant at an amount equal to or greater than the rent, Landlord will refund to Tenant any amount Tenant has paid, less an $125 administrative fee. If Landlord is able to find a substitute tenant at an amount less than the rent, Landlord will refund to Tenant the rent paid by the substitute tenant and the Security Deposit, less an $125 administrative fee. If Landlord is unable to find a substitute tenant, all amounts paid by Tenant will be forfeited (excluding the Cleaning Fee and Security Deposit)." Notwithstanding any representations made by Airbnb, the Security Deposit policy is as follows: "It is the obligation of the Tenant to surrender the Rental Property in good condition, and without extra cleaning by the time specified, except for reasonable wear and tear. Tenant shall pay for any damage to the Rental Property caused during his/her possession, or for extra cleaning. Costs of any extra cleaning or to repair or replace any damage or loss to the Rental Property or the contents thereof will be deducted from the Security Deposit. The Landlord will deduct monies from the Security Deposit for violation of the Terms and Conditions of the Rental Agreement. In the event the Security Deposit is insufficient to pay for any damage to the Rental Property caused during Tenant's possession, or for extra cleaning, Landlord shall provide an invoice to Tenant within 30 days for the additional items, which shall be immediately due and payable by Tenant to Landlord. Tenant hereby grants to Landlord the authority to charge the Credit Card provided by Tenant to cover such extra cleaning or damage."
