Newly renovated, cozy cottage in a beautiful country setting. A peaceful refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city, this comfortable & stylish cottage offers views of nature and all the amenities of a full size home. The covered deck is a perfect place to enjoy the views with a relaxing seating area & propane BBQ grill. Or gather on the patio around the fire table, surrounded by nature and a sky full of stars. Shooting stars are a frequent sight in late summer. The space Property backs to acreage with lovely landscaping, tall trees and abundant nature. You may see a family of deer on our property, along with songbirds, bunnies & the occasional bald eagle or hawk. Unwind by your private fire pit or on the covered deck with country views, stars & bird songs. Well stocked kitchen with a collection of spices. Private bathroom with large shower. Good WIFI. Less than a mile (3 minute drive) to Horseshoe Lake & Park. Experience everything that makes the Pacific Northwest great! Many options for nearby hiking, beaches, and seasonal apple & berry picking. A scenic stop between Olympic National Forest & Seattle. Barbecue on the deck and make s'mores in the outdoor fire pit while you enjoy some fantastic star gazing! Deck has seating for 4. The cottage is 480 square feet including a living room with tv, kitchen with bar seating for 2, two smaller bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. (Please note we do not have a formal dining table.) Master bedroom has a full size bed & a closet with shelves and space to hang clothes. Second bedroom is right across the hall and has a twin bunk bed, dresser & closet. The living room has a futon that converts to a queen bed for an alternative sleeping space. The chair converts to a twin. There is only space for one to be used at a time. Twin ottoman is provided standard. If guests want to use the queen futon, they may request for the larger ottoman to be provided. We will provide linens and extra blankets. Flat screen TV with BlueRay DVD player for streaming Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. with a selection of DVDs for you to enjoy. A selection of family games is available in the dresser of the bunkbed room. Guest access You will have access through a driveway that shares access to our garage area, the entire cottage, the deck & the grass lawn directly behind the cottage. Behind the cottage & lawn is another large grassy area that you may also use. Off limits to guests are the main house and garage. Other things to note The number of guests in the reservation is the maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any time, not just overnight. No additional guests are allowed on the property without prior approval. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED AT THIS LISTING! If you plan to use the queen futon in the living room, please let us know so that we can provide the larger ottoman & extra bedding. Being in the country, our next door neighbors have some farm animals that you may hear during your stay. We provide one fan and a sound machine. Additional fans are available by request.
