My home is about nourishing experiences—from the relaxing sun-filled rooms to the edible forests and gardens that surround the outdoor oven and kitchen, to the fire pit and the lounging area, to the people and the animals you’ll meet. My Airbnb isn’t just a place to stay. It’s my humble home which I designed for myself, my family, and friends, in order to restore the body and the spirit by offering profound ways to connect to nature, and a chance to rest, recenter, and reinvigorate. The space My quaint two-story Tudor is nestled in the heart of a food forest and garden. The exterior features a rustic porch adorned with cozy antique ship chairs, picnic tables, a hammock, a fire pit, and a wood-fired pizza oven. As you step inside, you're greeted by an inviting living room, where a stone fireplace is the centerpiece, casting a warm glow over ancient but inviting sofas. A large window offer a view of the woods, allowing natural light to flood the space and providing an ever-changing backdrop of the forest. In the music room, surrounding a dining area, is an old piano, a guitar, a ukulele, percussion instruments, and an antique record player that you are welcome to. The kitchen exudes a cottage-like charm, equipped with modern amenities yet retaining a cozy, old-world feel. The walls and kitchen cabinets are stocked with Japanese plate-ware, antique and modern cooking tools, spices and ingredients from all around the world—everything one could need to prepare restorative meals. Upstairs, the bedrooms are a haven of tranquility. Each room is simply decorated, featuring queen-sized ancient beds, handcrafted wooden furniture, house plants, and a thoughtful collection of books—a private and peaceful space to rest and recuperate. Outside, is a food forest that features wild edible plants, food that’s exponentially more nutritious and microbiome diversifying than conventionally farmed fruits and vegetables. As well, the biodynamic garden offers vegetables, herbs, and fruit—profoundly nourishing foods and natural medicines that heal and optimize health in ways modern approaches rarely can. Guest access You have access to a matted yoga/stretching area, a cafe/bar/restaurant area and music room with guitars and a piano, a dining room, the laundry room, the living room, and the kitchen and all of the outdoor spaces. During your stay I’m around most days and when I'm away I can be reached by cell, and an employee and my family come by too. Other things to note Please keep your bedroom and closet doors shut because I have a super-friendly cat named Blue, who is not allowed upstairs. Please remove shoes indoors.
