The space The interior wall has been removed and one of the bedrooms has now become open to the living area but we kept the century old beams to add a "certain je ne sais quoi" and give a sense of privacy when the curtains are drown. Please note that this is a completely redesigned apt. The main bedroom with queen size bed is fully private. The other bedroom is semi private and has curtains to create a cozy atmosphere. It has a convertible double size sofa bed with memory foam mattress top for extra comfort. In case there's guest number 5 or 6, there's a queen size high top inflatable mattress. Our guests will have access to all the amenities inside the apt, such as wifi, internet based TV channels like Netflix. A functional kitchen space with a coffee machine, linens and towels, and a small terrace in the back. We do in person check ins so we meet our guests. If not possible, we will send detailed information to allow for a smooth self check in. We are ready to be there for our guests and leave it up to our guests to chose if they want to be left alone or come out on the town with us. Just outside there's a beautiful park with a 200 meter track that becomes an ice skating ring in winter, and a large children's park with swings and kid's games. one block away there's another newly remodeled park with benches and trees alongside Avenue Laurier, Montreal's trendiest street. Nearby you will find a bixi bike rental station from May until Nov 15. half a block away there are the main bus lines on Blvd St Laurent that take you nonstop on a 5 minute ride to downtown and Old Port. it's also a 30-45 minute walk to china town and old port. The metro Laurier Station is a 5-7 minute walk from the house. The top restaurants are 5-10 minute walk. Great coffee shop just on the corner. This is just the best location for you if you are here to visit the city or on business, and for longer term stays. Other things to note If you're going to turn off the TV for the night, make sure to hit the "Home", "Pause" or "Back" button on your Roku remote. Turning off the TV does not stop the show from streaming and it will keep playing while the TV is off. This will use up some bandwidth and incur extra charges.
