Guest suite in Santa Barbara

Enjoy the best of Santa Barbara from this beautiful 1-bedroom guest suite (attached to our house) in the Mesa neighborhood. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, this unit is perfect for a nice getaway retreat. We are a short distance (3.5 blocks) from the beach stairs (241 steps); a beautiful bluff-front park (Douglas Family Preserve); Shoreline Park; close to great restaurants; a lovely organic market; and just a short drive (~7 minutes) to State Street and Santa Barbara's famed Funk Zone. The space This is a private 1-bedroom unit attached to our home, with its own separate entrance, through the private patio at the side of the house. The space is small, but functional. This suite is completely blocked off, so there is no access between this unit and our side of the house. Walk through the double French doors that open to a cozy main room (11 ft x 12.5 ft) with a kitchenette, bistro table, pull-out queen sofa bed, coffee table, and a wall-mounted Roku TV that includes Netlflix. The kitchenette offers a 7.5 cubic-foot refrigerator, kitchen sink, microwave, hot plate, a convection/toaster oven & air fryer combo, and all the dishes/glassware/pots & pans, etc. you will need. These appliances offer most cooking and baking capabilities. There's also an electric kettle and French press for your morning coffee (please bring your own coffee). The only food items we have included are oil, salt, and pepper. There are two markets close by, so you can easily stock up on your food & drink essentials. The separate bedroom (12 ft x 12 ft) offers a comfortable memory foam Casper king bed, dresser, closet, and Roku-enabled TV, also with Netflix. The bathroom has a shower over the tub. Bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and hand soap are provided. There is also a magnified mirror provided in the bathroom along with a hairdryer. Please bring your own toiletries. The outdoor private patio has lounge chairs and a small outdoor dining table that seats three. If you prefer, you may use the front porch (which is shared with us), which offers a nice place to eat your breakfast or relax. Sorry, no pets. Guest access There is plenty of street parking right in front of our house. There are also two beach cruiser bikes included for you to use at your leisure.
