This charming 1930’s construction was once owned by the founding family of Clayton as a peach orchard. We recently renovated for modern conveniences and amenities but kept its historic charm. Flooded with natural light and large windows this clean welcoming home has a great outdoor space for grilling or kids to play! If you're lucky to visit in the summer months make sure to grab some of the fresh peaches off the trees! A traditional "shotgun" style bungalow with a front porch, and large back yard. The house opens to a living room where we have a smart TV to stream all your favorites, Netflix, Hulu, etc. The first bedroom is off the living. From here the hallway leads to a formal dining room with a attached breakfast nook before leading to the kitchen. Modern and complete kitchen to cook any meal. Stainless range, stainless fridge with water and ice. Full assortment of pots/pans and other cookware. Ceiling fans, queen memory foam mattresses and cotton sheets in each bedroom. Blackout curtains in each bedroom so you can sleep-in and relax! The living room also offers a queen pullout couch. Guests will have full access to the property and home. There is a detached garage/workshop along with an attic that guests will not have access to . We will give you complete privacy, but live nearby if needed! When we travel we don’t want to speak with the host, so set this up the same! The house has a keypad for access. A literal two minute drive to Downtown Clayton, this is a charming historic neighborhood. Filled with large, mature trees- well kept and clean neighborhood. When we lived here full time we walked into town for a coffee or lunch regularly! Our favorite local grocery store, Andy's Market is a two minute walk! We have plenty of parking that can accommodate at least three cars, though once you get here you probably won’t need them. One of our favorite restaurants, Fromage is only a 10 minute walk! If you are looking to hike and see waterfalls there are a handful within a 10-20 minute drive from the house. We do allow pets, but there is a $100 pet fee per pet, per stay. Please note that pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds. We are trying to preserve our guests to enjoy for years to come!
