Super Hosts bring you an all original authentic & stunning Vermont cabin! We have an overall 5 star rating on airbnb since 2014! The Run-In has got it all! Private hot tub & sauna access!! A lovely country home with a vintage feel! It has a full bathroom, outdoor shower, new hot tub, indoor shower, outdoor tub, kitchenette & the best wood stove ever! Xcountry & snowshoeing trails out your front door! Views and sunsets! Min to Magic Mnt, Bromley, Stratton, & Okemo! VERY FAST WIFI @bentapplefarm The space THANKS SO MUCH FOR CHECKING OUT BENT APPLE FARM!! WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE IT HERE…YOU ARE NOW PART OF THE FAMILY… We were honored to be one of Vermonts most popular country cabins and one of Vermont’s most popular Airbnb's! IT IS IMPORTANT YOU TO KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT and WHAT’S EXPECTED OF YOU… ABOUT THE CABIN This little cabin is one of our favorite spots in on the farm!!! It’s loved for it’s true Vermont nature - Rustic, calming, cozy and comfortable:) Centrally located between 4 of Vermont’s best ski mountains. Its only 3 min to our favorite coffee and breakfast spot, and 10 min to a BIG grocery store, butcher shop, hardware store, & health food store…Yep, you found a good one!! The Run-in has been the subject of TV and magazine features and a few well known brands! It’s a winner with it's lovely views! It’s exactly as described: “a former horse run-in shed converted lovingly by hand into a rustic romantic cabin.” The super cozy space has a loft bed under slanted eaves, a wood-fired stove and curated with vintage appliances. The Run-In is the perfect retreat for a DIY, un-fussy getaway. What’s better than falling asleep in the trees and waking up to a view of the mist rising off our endless rolling green hills OR even better, a fresh layer of pow!!! We have almost 100 acres for you to roam!! You are welcome to explore our beautiful fields and paths and we really hope you do! In the summer you have a private outdoor shower. In the winter you have a regular indoor bathroom with a new shower. The private hot tub can be use all year round. You have a very nice new deck area out front of the cabin for grilling and watching the sun set over the mountains. Keep in mind we have a lot of wildlife in our area so keep your voices down and you might see moose, deer, coyote, and a ton of cool birds. That being said, keep your food inside and use the bear proof dumpster for your trash. They don't come to bother you but they do come looking for scraps! AROUND TOWN... Londonderry is Manchester’s cute kid sister, with rustic shops and quintessential Vermonters. We have an awesome record store, ski shop and great grocery store and butcher shop! Don’t miss Bromley Market, where you can grab gourmet sandwiches on housemade biscuits as big as a dinner plate and stock up on local Artisanal goodies. The Corner is great for coffee and quick breakfast on the go! Taylor Farm is a town icon, it’s goods like cheese and ice cream are as local as it gets— the dairy is from the cows munching beside the farm shop. Swing by in the evenings and you’re likely to join a jam session with Farmer John, the proprietor who in winter offers magical horse drawn sleigh rides with hot apple cider, and a bonfire. Stove & Wood: If you wish to use our beautiful wood burning stove we do ask you bring a stack of dry KINDLING and starter sticks! We supply all the logs you will ever need, but our wood is usually off the property and tends to be green. You are welcome to as much of it as you want, but you will have a hard time lighting it if you don’t bring a bundle of dry kindling from home! We have a torch for lighting the stove so don’t go crazy looking for matches…We don’t have em! If you forget to pick up kindling our local grocery store and hardware store have stacks waiting for you and duraflame products, but keep in mind they do close early!! The wood is located up the little steps outside behind the wooden door. Don’t light a large fire or you won’t get much sleep in that loft! Heat rises. Also, keep the top loading door cracked a few inches to get the fire going. Be sure the stove is closed tight and let the fire burn out before bedtime. NEVER REMOVE A LIT LOG FROM INSIDE THE WOOD STOVE. Just let it burn out. IT’S IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT and WHAT’S EXPECTED OF YOU… Cleanings: Our cleaning and linen fee is there to allow our cleaning lady to fully disinfect, clean, do laundry, fold linens and get the bathrooms and kitchen to sparkle. We charge just a bit more these years for all the changes we have experienced from Covid, property tax hikes and STR taxes. Hope you understand. Airbnb has an etiquette that is very different from hotels. YOU are expected to do A LOT and to return the cabin to how you found it. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: We have some rules you will be asked to sign on arrival. -Please, take care of this cabin as you would your own home -This is your space and your space only. Guest that are not in the reservation are are not allowed. Now that’s ALL out of the way…please DO enjoy this AWESOME cabin. IMPORTANT. If you are high maintenance skip this cabin. If you want total isolation also skip it. Our little cabin is not far off so you WILL see other folks and you will hear me out on the tractor mowing or clearing snow...You will for sure get an unsolicited visit from our black lab! If there is anything you need help with or is something not to your like please contact me. I live in the property and will be more than happy to come and help…Your reviews matter so please let us do our part and make your stay really enjoyable! PETS We love our animals at Bent Apple Farm, but we only allow dogs and we do charge a 150 dollar pet fee. -Dogs must be crate trained and can not come to the property without. -It is your responsibility to NEVER leave your pup unattended in the cabin even for trip to the grocery store. -Please brush and trim your pet’s nails before coming to our cabin to avoid damaging our natural wood floors. -If your dog is a chewer, this listing may not be a good fit for he/she. -We don’t allowed pets in furniture or bed. If you cuddle with your dog in bed every night, this may not be a good fit for you. -Be very cautious during hunting season to keep your pup close. -At night/dusk be sure your dog is with you as we have coyotes and hawks, owls and bears in VT. Thanks, B+L Guest access PARKING Park in the little parking area just right of the run-in. You can drive right up to the cabin for easy unloading. You can use the entire Run-in and the outdoor shower in the summer. I would suggest the indoor shower for the winter:) LOFT ACCESS Guest use a ladder accessing the loft at their own risk. There is some climbing to be done in getting into bed so if you are older or have an injury preventing you from using ladders ya might want to check out our other cabins instead. Shoes and Boots - Leave all shoes under the benches in the mudroom. We ask our guest to no use outdoor shoes inside the house. This makes cleaning easier and will protect our soft pine floors. Grilling: You have a nice area out back of the cabin for grilling. No need to bring much at all in the way of cooking/grilling we are well stocked! Be sure to turn off the gas both on the grill and at the propane tank after use. Let us know if you have used a tank so we can be sure to replace it for the next guests.
