The room is bright and spacious with private access to the bathroom. If you wish to bring additional guests we offer a second bedroom. Your private bath will be shared with your invited family and/or friends. Our home was built in 1980 designed by an architect to be energy efficient. It is 100% south facing allowing in an abundance of sunlight, reducing any feelings of confined space. It is open concept with a central fireplace/wood stove. Wonderful comfort in cold winter months. Please consider that this is a country home built of field stone and rough sawn beams. So if dust is an issue, we cannot offer a dust free environment. We heat with wood. We own a dog and two cats. The house is clean, but it is not sterile. Our other listing: Tree House at the Shire Guests will have access to a full private bathroom, use of kitchen, central living space, screen porch, patio, outdoor grill, and fire pit. Please bring your own fire wood. We will provide the kindling. Coffee & tea, juice and cold continental breakfast. Parking is available at the top of the driveway to the left of the circle. On property: 200+ acres with 5 miles of hiking-snow shoeing trails. We look forward to every visit, and will be accessible. We also take cues gracefully and respect guests desire for privacy.
