Comfortable , cozy, quiet Carisbrooke village house. Close to walking & cycle paths, Tennyson trail & many more. Off road parking & bike storage, private garden, sun deck. Ideal base for exploring the Island. Sleeps 5 /6, 2 double bedrooms & sofa bed. Wood burning stove & open fire, fuel provided. Smart TV with Netflix, robes & tea/coffee provided. The space The house is terraced, with 2 bedrooms, separate dining room and front room, a well equipped kitchen and large bathroom with separate bath and large walk in corner shower. There's also a private garden with a summer house that has a sun deck to relax on - cushions and chairs provided. The house is on a no through road, so noise and traffic is minimal. It's a very safe environment, with extremely low crime rates. You can hear the local ( and very historic) church bells on a Friday evening ( their practice time) and Sunday morning. Being a quiet village, it's probably not the place to throw wild all night parties, but that said there are 2 decent pubs, that both do food, and one has live music most weekends. There's also 2 nice restaurants in the village, an Italian and ADA, a mezze restaurant. Guest access The whole house with private garden, summerhouse with sun deck and off road parking. Other things to note The house is well prepared for our changeable weather! There are electric fans for the summer and central heating, a wood burning stove and an open fire for colder days. Wood and coal is provided.
