Perfect for a quick or long get away. 10 minutes to West Jefferson and 30 minutes to Boone. Check out Zaloo's Canoes for kayaking, tubing, and canoeing just 15 minutes away. AWD is best. No pets/animals. No smoking, any kind or vaping. No parties. River access close No 3rd party bookings 1 exterior camera with audio on end of cabin for security, weather, safety. The space No steps to get into main floor of cabin. New River access for fishing, tubing, playing in the river witching 5 minutes drive from cabin. Shelter with picnic tables and handicapped access. Beautiful area. See pictures on listing. It is beautiful and just opened the summer of 2023. Downstairs: 1 bedroom with queen bed (hybrid mattress) and half bath. Full bath off the kitchen. Roku Smart TV, air conditioner. No dishwasher. Upstairs: Open loft with double bed (hybrid mattress). Roku Smart TV. Desk. ** NEW plush hybrid mattresses were installed on 9/17/2022. Recliner and sofa reclines on one end. Large deck with 2 tables. Front porch has 2 rocking chairs for watching the leaves blow on the trees! WiFi included. Roku Smart TV in living room. Feel free to sign into your favorite online apps. Be sure to sign out before you leave. Extra pillows with cases are inside wooden chests near both beds. Hairdryer in each bathroom. Starter pack of toilet paper and paper towels only. Should last a long weekend. ** Please bring your favorite shampoo, conditioner and body wash. A small hotel size soap bar is provided in the bathroom with the tub/shower. Large wonderful deck nestled in the trees, but gets warm sunshine also. A great place to watch the stars at night. Guest access Guest parking is free as it would be at a private residence. There is room for 2 vehicles. Roads are packed gravel. There is no room to park an RV, boat or jet ski type vehicle. It would be impossible to maneuver any type of trailer up to the cabin with the narrow roads and sharp turns. Other things to note Kitchen and other details: Pots, pans, large and small drip coffee makers, a pod type coffee one cup maker also, toaster, microwave, heated via 2 cast iron stoves with gas logs (see pictures), large deck with a large and small metal tables. Extra blankets and pillows provided. Hangers provided. *** No Dish washer. Slow cooker and blender also. Stack washer/ dryer under the stairs. Linens (sheets, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, kitchen dish cloths and dish towels provided). If you have allergies and plan to wash clothes, please bring your own laundry detergent. We provide Gain detergent. A few coffee pods, sugar and artificial sweeteners are provided. If you prefer the drip coffee makers (1 large and 1 small) please bring your favorite brand of coffee with you. Filters are provided.
