A vintage chic cottage that is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of life, without a long drive. 40 miles from Bangor International Airport and 5 miles from Dover-Foxcroft. Bring your own boat, use our kayak, or rent a boat at the marina only a block away. A peaceful enclosed porch with lots of windows overlooks Sebec Lake. Full kitchen, BBQ grill & fireplace. 1 king bed, 2 twin beds, 1 full size pull-out couch bed. Sleeps up to 5. Perfect for families, friends, or a couples getaway The space This cottage offers an open space concept. Kitchen, living room and dining room are open to each other. The living is comfy with Roku TV & DVD's. Stairs will take you to the open bedroom area. The bedroom offers a king bed and trundle twin beds. There is a Roku TV, some fun kid's toy's & games, dressers & an area to hang clothes. Guests' favorite area is the porch. The porch area is separate off the living room with wrap around windows overlooking Sebec Lake just steps from the porch. There are rocking style chairs and couch on the porch to enjoy your morning coffee, read or just sit and listen for the loons. Lake side of this cottage has steps leading into the lake, great for swimming and kayaking. A kayak and canoe are here for you to enjoy. Life jackets are available and stored on the porch along with the paddles. There are sturdy chairs and a BBQ grill lakeside. Extra outdoor chairs & swim toys are stored on the porch. Views of the lake can be enjoyed from the kitchen, living room and bedroom. There is parking space for two vehicles and a sign showing exactly where to park. Cottages on this side of the lake tend to be close but the neighbors here are wonderful & welcoming! Guest access You are the only guests staying at this cottage. No space is shared. Other things to note Our cottage offers a bulkhead plus a moor to dock your boat. Our bulkhead portion is about 25 feet in overall length with a ladder to disembark. In addition, very sturdy steps that lead directly into the water, this is perfect for going swimming, climbing onto your floatie or getting into kayak. If your boat is longer than 25 feet you will have to moor it. The dock that is located to the left side of the property belongs to the neighbor, kindly do not use. NO pets allowed.
