The cottage property is not far off Hwy 60, so you can expect some traffic noise The space 100+ waterfront with naturalized beach and gradual slope with Sandy bottom making for child friendly swimming in the warm waters of Golden Lake all summer long. Fall colours are spectacular and the deck provides the perfect spot to cozy up with a warm beverage to enjoy the view of the Opeongo hills in full fall splendour. For winter visitors, nordic skiing, skating and snowshoeing are just out the front door. Bring your snowmobile to explore the well maintained trails throughout the area. If ice fishing is your thing, make the Deer Run cottage your home base and return to warm up by the woodstove. Propane furnace heating and an indoor woodstove make for for cozy fall and winter stays in this fully insulated year round cottage. Canoeing, SUP and kayaking on the lake and nearby Bonnechere River offer spectacular views and bird watching opportunities. Winter brings skating on the lake and plenty of cross country skiing opportunities. For the snowmobile enthusiast, bring your machine and explore the substantial trails. Property includes wildflower gardens, 100+ foot of naturalized beach, birdfeeders attracting local and migrating species, lawn games, canoes, stand up paddle boards, hammocks and kayaks.
