Be welcome in a 2020/21 newly built holiday home, which invites you to a relaxing and relaxing stay. Haus Wangerstrand is located in the village of Hohenkirchen in the immediate vicinity on the Wangermeer. Via a non-public path behind the house, you can walk 100m to a small private beach with a reed bank. The house has a fiber optic connection. The space On the ground floor via an open living/cooking and dining area,as well as guest toilet and HWR. The upper floor has two bedrooms and one bathroom with shower. All rooms are equipped with TV and free Wi-Fi. Outside there is a furnished terrace with umbrella, as well as a equipment house to securely store hikes. In the village there are supermarkets, bakeries, a gas station and a pharmacy. Around the lake there are some activities ,such as stand up paddling, football golf and a swimming spot. The Wangermeer invites you to a tour in beautiful Frisian countryside via a landscaped bike path all around. Within 15 minutes by car you can reach the beaches of Harlesiel, Horumersiel and Schillig, also the East Frisian islands of Wangerooge and Langeoog are not far away and can be reached via Ferry/boat connections or a small plane. We wish you a pleasant and unforgettable time relaxing ,exploring and discovering in beautiful Friesland. Other things to note The health resort of Hohenkirchen (Zone 2) is subject to visitor's tax. Therefore, a tourist tax must be paid on site. This depends on the number of people, age and length of stay. Exempt from the guest fee: a) Children up to and including 3 years. b) Severely disabled persons whose "degree of disability" (formerly: reduction in earning capacity) according to official ID is 100%. c) Severely disabled persons who, according to their official ID, are completely dependent on constant accompaniment (marked "B" in the ID). Means: regardless of the degree of disability (e.g. GdB 80% and marking B). d) Accompanying persons of severely disabled persons who are completely dependent on permanent accompaniment according to official ID.
