Welcome to a newly built 2020/21 vacation home that invites you to a relaxing and restful stay. The house Wangerstrand is located in the village of Hohenkirchen in the immediate vicinity of Lake Wanger. Via a non-public path behind the house, you can walk 100 m to a small private beach with a reed bank. The house has a fiber optic connection. The space On the ground floor there is an open living/cooking and dining area, as well as a guest toilet and laundry room. The upper floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. All rooms are equipped with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Outside there is a furnished terrace with a parasol, as well as a tool shed for the safe storage of bicycles. In the village there are supermarkets, bakeries, a gas station and a pharmacy. Around the lake there are some activity options, such as stand up paddling, football golf and a swimming spot. The Wangermeer invites you to take a tour in beautiful Frisian landscape via a bicycle path. Within 15 minutes by car you can reach the beaches Harlesiel, Horumersiel and Schillig. The East Frisian islands of Wangerooge and Langeoog are also not far away and can be reached via ferry/ship connections or by small plane. We wish you a pleasant and unforgettable time relaxing, exploring and discovering beautiful Friesland. Other things to note The health resort Hohenkirchen (Zone 2) is subject to visitor's tax. Therefore, a visitor's tax must be paid on site. This depends on the number of people, age and length of stay. Information on the main and secondary season and the corresponding prices can be found on the Wangerland Touristik website. The following are exempt from the guest fee: a) Children up to and including 3 years of age. b) Severely disabled persons whose "degree of disability" (formerly: reduction in earning capacity) according to official identification is 100%. c) Severely disabled persons who, according to official identification, are completely dependent on constant accompaniment (marked "B" in the identification card). Means: regardless of the degree of disability (e.g. degree of disability 80% and marking B). d) Accompanying persons of severely disabled persons who, according to official identification, are completely dependent on constant accompaniment.
