Take in the view from the deck shaded by a large Redwood. Catch hints of ocean air from Sausalito’s Richardson Bay a mile East & Muir Beach and the Pacific Ocean 4 miles West. Day-trippers will find themselves with too many options. Be in San Francisco or Muir Woods in 15 minutes, or the tasting rooms of Sonoma’s Gloria Ferrer in 35 minutes. The space The Midcentury-inspired guest residence is newly remodeled. The kitchen includes a Ninja Oven, microwave, refrigerator, cutlery, dishes, cooking utensils, and more. The living room has a queen-size sleeper sofa that sleeps two additional guests, 55” TV with Sonos sound bar. The bedroom has a queen bed, small TV, and Echo alarm clock. The bath includes a shower with shampoo/conditioner/body wash. There’s a washer & dryer with laundry supplies, and a dedicated desk/workspace. The large outdoor deck has a gas grill and lounge chairs. Indoor/outdoor living at its best with outdoor table for alfresco dining that seats four. Indoor kitchen counter seats two. Free high-speed WIFI, and two TVs. The unit is stocked with coffee (pods for Keurig machine and ground coffee for french press and Chemex pour overs) and an electric tea kettle, and milk frother for lattes. Fresh bathrobes, linens, hypoallergenic pillows, blankets, towels, and washcloths provided. The property has a wide selection of Bay Area/Northern California travel, hiking, history, and reference books as well as multiple board games. There's a backpack with picnic supplies, a blanket, and beach towels for hiking and/or beach trips. There are several fabulous organic high-end grocery stores and cafes nearby (Good Earth, Whole Foods) and drugstores (Walgreen's and CVS) minutes away. The house is at the top of the hill and one of the last houses at the end of a quiet street with no through traffic. It's a serene and peaceful spot with nature views overlooking the Valley. Guest access The apartment/guest suite is attached to the main house on a separate level and covers the entire lower floor overlooking the Valley. There are no shared spaces with the main house. It's very private with its own separate entrance and deck. It’s set up with a Smart lock with a code for easy check in. I strongly recommend that guests protect their trip with travel insurance available online. I do not give refunds due to Covid, weather or travel issues including flight delays or cancellations. Guest access Guests have full access to the lower level of the home with a private outdoor deck (shown in the listing with fabulous views of Mt Tamalpais), outdoor furniture, a dining table that seats 4, 2 swing chairs, and outdoor lounge area.
