Our small working farm is situated on 14 acres of pristine ocean view land on which we grow organic fruits and vegetables, and host visiting guests. Guests enjoy a farm stay with views of our organic and productive bananas, papayas, coconuts, pineapples and more from their lanais while relaxing and watching the ocean and skies. Our newly built farm headquarters includes a second floor with three ocean view master suites. The ground floor houses all operations of our Wild Harvest Hawaii freeze dried fruit business where we prepare the items in our commercial kitchen that will go straight from farm to market each week. Also on the ground floor, there is a common lounge area with coffee and tea making equipment. We are honored to host the award-winning chef Brian Na‘au who prepares authentic Hawaiian meals from our certified kitchen. Guests come from all over the world to sample his cuisine, and you are welcome to join on Friday or Saturday nights. He is booked well in advance, so please see his website to make a reservation if you want a culinary experience unlike any other. The upper area of the farm in the guest parking has an EV charger in the parking area, and a washer/dryer available for your use. Only 15 miles from Hilo airport, Whitehaven Farm is a world away from the buzz and business of the city. Drive for 90 minutes to reach the famous Kohala beaches, or Hawi, or — in a different direction — lava flows. Our farm is a short driving distance from Akaka Falls, the charming town of Honomu, Honolii Beach Park, and the stunning Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden.
