Beautiful barn in rural idyll with hot tub

Upper Stables is a romantic hideaway nestled in the private countryside of Carclew on the outskirts of Mylor, in easy reach of creeks, beaches and Falmouth. The stables have been lovingly refurbished and boast wood fired hot tub, beams, woodburner, luxurious bathroom - roll top bath and rain shower and a large well equipped kitchen. There are many lovely spots to enjoy; meadow for sundowners, private 1 mile walk - perfect for dog owners, fenced garden with barbecue and fire pit for star gazing. The space Upper Stables is very comfortably decorated with a large L shaped sofa, super king size bed and farmhouse table perfect for spreading out the Sunday papers. Upper Stables sits within a court-yard with another holiday barn next door (perfect if two couples wish to book together), cottage and large farmyard barn. The fenced garden for exclusive use of Upper Stables guests is a short walk from the back door of the barn. There are two wood fired hot tubs for both holiday barns in the old stables area. Complimentary basket of logs provided, further logs available at cost in Honesty Shop. Upper Stables guests have exclusive use of one of the hot tubs, just a short walk away from the back door. The old stables area also houses croquet and boules sets, an honesty shop selling logs for the hot tub, locally produced charcoal and frozen Cooks meals and local pasties. Carclew Stables is an ideal base for walking, sailing, cycling and exploring. There is plenty of space in our old stables if you want to bring cycles, boating or surfing equipment. Carclew is home to horses, cats, dogs and chickens! Two well behaved dogs are very welcome. Guest access Parking for Upper Stables is in the upper part of the courtyard, just a short walk from the front door. We provide a trolley for use to help with transporting luggage and shopping the short distance. Other things to note From May to November we welcome 7 day bookings with check in on Saturday. From November to May we welcome short breaks (minimum booking 3 days) with check in on either Friday or Monday. The cottage is not suitable for infants/children - sorry.
