Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home overlooking the Green Mountains. Located 2.2 miles from center of Bristol and 7.2 miles from center of Middlebury. Central location of many great hiking trails. People come from all around to hike Vermont. Ski areas within reach for a day of skiing. Sugarbush, one of many is approximately 24 miles and 40 minutes away. Stand by generator in case of power outage. In warm weather yard games are available and nearby river has swimming spots. House is located on Route 116 but sets back from the highway on a hill with a 1200 ft. driveway. Beautiful east views of the mountains and woods to the back. You never know what wildlife you may have an opportunity to see. Apartment is attached to our home. Has a totally separate entrance. A stand -by generator assures there is power at all times. Living room, dining room, 1/2 bath, washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen on first floor. Includes dishes for children, high chair and booster seat. Living room has desk area, drawers with card games, board games, puzzles and surge protector. For children: High chair, booster seat, child friendly dinnerware, sippy cups, pack and play, step stools for bathrooms, under sink cabinet locks, outlet protectors and stair gates. Have a few children’s books, puzzles and games also. 2 bedrooms and bath with tiled walk-in shower downstairs. 1 bedroom has king size bed, dressers, closet, sound machine and USB ports. 2nd bedroom has queen size bed, shelves, closet and sound machine. Both bedrooms have luggage racks. The outside deck has small table, 4 chairs and barbecue grill. Sorry but no pets allowed. Free parking in back of house. Self check-in with key pad on north door. The apartment is attached to our home so even though we intend to give guests all the privacy they want we are available as needed. We are good with interaction if the guests so choose. Country setting about 2.2 miles from the center of Bristol. Set back on a private drive 1200 ft from the main highway. We wash all bedding ( sheets, blankets, mattress and pillow protectors) , living room throws and pillows between each set of guests. Have clean comforters/quilts for each booking also. We want to know if there is something that anyone needs to help with their stay. If possible we would consider getting it for the apartment.
