Bungalow on the beach front with fire

Make some wonderful family memories at our renovated bach. With modern whiteware and great indoor/outdoor flow our bach makes for easy living! It's situated on the beach front in the sand dunes, only 50 meters from the shop and park, and a short walk on the beach to the north "surf club flag area". Fun walks in either direction with reefs at each end of the beach for fishing or for fossicking with the kids at low tide for interesting crabs and shellfish. Enjoy our holiday bach! The space Our bach is a warm, sunny well-appointed house, quite deceitful in size from the outside. It is on one level, has three bedrooms which sleeps six people in two queen beds, and a double/single bunk bed. Enjoy our new kitchen (complete with dishwasher and all crockery and cooking utensils). Plunger coffee is provided but bring your own coffee beans if you want to use the expresso coffee machine. The bathroom is renovated (no bath) with a separate toilet and laundry area. The living room opens out onto two deck areas with outdoor dining, weber bbq and seating. The wood burner in the lounge makes sure you can keep warm on chilly nights. Follow the pathway through the dunes to the 2km classic east coast NZ beach. Fabulous! We have boogie boards, golf clubs, sand toys and outdoor games for your use too. The TV has a chromecast for those rainy days and you can enjoy WIFI (limited). There are games to play and books to read. Each bed is made up ready for you and freshly baked goodies upon your arrival. Other things to note Like all of Riversdale Beach our water is collected from rain and stored in tanks. Most water is untreated so if this worries you buy bottled water or use the filter jug provided. Please CONSERVE water in the summer. This means short showers, limited flushing and clothes washing; thank you. A blue council rubbish bag (in bin outside) and recycling bins are provided. On departure please remove all rubbish and leave bags and bins at the front gate for Monday collection (and Fridays in the summer). There is a hose at the side of the house for removing your sand and we would appreciate shoes removed at the door, ta. This is a NO PETS house.
