Country Cottage, Lundie Castle, Edzell

Relax with family & friends at this renovated cottage. Situated 2 miles from the historic, quaint village of Edzell in Angus. This is a peaceful and quiet location from which all of Angus and beyond can be explored or somewhere you can relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the rural surroundings. The cottage has a spacious open plan kitchen/lounge area with a door leading to the outdoor seating area. There are two double bedrooms, bathroom and utility room. The space The rear door of the property has two steps into the hall. The hall leads to the open planned kitchen/lounge area on the left and to the right, there is one step, the hall then continues through to the utility area and the first bedroom. There is an additional step in the hall which leads you through to the second bedroom and bathroom. The front door has two steps into the property, all outdoor spaces are gravelled. The bedrooms both have space for a cot to be added , the first bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has a split bed which can either be used as super king size bed or two single beds. The cottage has an adjoining Sister Cottage which is also available to reserve on Airbnb. Guest access There is a play area close to the cottage which can be used by guests, this is a shared space with ourselves and sister cottage. Children can make use of the climbing frame with swings and a slide, and also the trampoline. The summer house ( heated) also has a selection of outdoor toys and seasonal craft activities for the children to use. This area would be suitable for children up to the age of 12 years.
