The space The Champagne Rose Room is a quiet room at the back of the house, perfect for a secluded couples time away. Located on the 2nd floor, the room features a comfy queen-sized bed, a Smart TV with Netflix, and a sitting area, with art by Peter Nixon. The mini-kitchenette has a bar-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and utensils. The four-piece ensuite bathroom is bright and airy, with a separate shower and an air-massage tub just made for relaxing in lots of bubbles. Although it's a self-catering unit which does not include a hot breakfast, a European Continental breakfast basket for 2 can be included for $29. As well, you can order an English Afternoon Tea or a Cream Tea for two to enjoy in the dining room or in the gazebo. Guest access You are welcome to relax in our dining room and guest lounge, and enjoy the coffee station in the upstairs hall. Our airy veranda, the gazebo with comfortable chairs and a fire pit, and the furnished patio beside the pond in the back garden is available for your use. Parking is on the left side of the house in any numbered spot. During your stay We live on-site in our own private quarters, separate from guest areas. We are close enough to be available for any questions you may have or to solve any problems that may arise, but not close enough to intrude on your private time. We value your privacy but are always around if you would like to chat. You may also meet our cats, Gus and Kit, who will likely be sunning themselves on the veranda. They are not allowed in the guest rooms and do not permit other pets. Murray's hand made pens and lathe work is on display as well as items from my Glass Studio. Take a little bit of Stratford home with you as a souvenir of your visit. Walk, drive, or cycle in the neighbourhood, or take a 10 minute walk to downtown shops, galleries and theatres. On-street parking is free, except for downtown streets and lots. Maps are available.
