Sunny, central apartment in Penzance, Cornwall

A lovely top floor apartment on a pedestrianised shopping street in the centre of Penzance in West Cornwall. The Kitchen is light and modern. The Living room and Bedroom are comfortable and spacious. The space is warm, bright and private with key box check in. It's minutes from independent shops, cafes, galleries, bakeries and more. The seafront, restaurants, supermarkets and bars are 5 minutes on foot. St Micheals mount, St. Ives, Newlyn, Mousehole and great surf spots are close by. The space This second floor 1 bedroom apartment is bright, private and peaceful. There is no car noise in front or behind which is lovely. All the rooms feel spacious. The living room is large with a comfortable couch and a Futon sofa which turns into an extra bed. It's a Futon Company Futon, with a wooden frame and handily works as both an extra sofa and an extra bed. The bedroom is spacious too, with a king size bed, a big chest of drawers and a clothes hanging rail. The kitchen gets morning sun and is large enough to eat in as well as being modern and clean. The bathroom is very clean and minimal with a lovely large walk in shower, a modern toilet and sink and two windows. All rooms get direct sun at different points in the day and the flat is very warm and dry. It is heated by thermostat controlled electric oil filled radiators that are super quick and effective. All of the bedding is cotton, as are the towels, and they are included in the stay along with extra blankets, a topper for the Futon, throws and tea and coffee. The apartment doesnt have it's own parking , the street is pedestrianised, but parking is readily available at local carparks, we recommend St Erbyns. It is a top floor space and is reached by two flights of outdoor steps so please bear this is mind if travelling with lots of luggage or there are members in your group who are not good with steps. The appartment itself has no shared areas and is not overlooked Please bear in mind that there are two flights of outdoor steps and that if you find steps difficult it may not be your best choice Other things to note To reach the flat guests will use shared areas, namely a partially covered alleyway shared with the building next door and an outdoor flight of steps The flat is on the top floor and is accessed via 2 flights of steps. The first of these are outdoor concrete steps with walls on either side and handrails. The second flight are metal steps with grip treads and high railings. Both flights are very easy to navigate but please be mindful in wet weather/Cornish mizzle to use the handrails. There is a drop to one side of the steps to the flat but there there are high metal railings and it is very safe. This is a 1 bedroom flat with spacious rooms and a seperate kitchen. The Futon bed is an extra to accommodate a 3rd guest if needed or travelling friends but it is not a standalone second bedroom. We have a separate kitchen and it has a table in there. We dont have a freezer as part of the fridge.
