Lake Thun and Lake Brienz are navigable by boat. From Därligen you can reach Spiez in 10 minutes via the expressway. From there you can reach Frutigen, Adelboden, Kiental and Kandersteg as well as Simmental, Diemtiegtal, etc. Därligen is well located as a starting point for day trips.
