All are welcome here at Tree House Retreat. If you are a solo adventurer, a writer, artist, someone who loves hiking, fishing, kayaking , you will love it here.Please note, that the Tree House is a tiny house, 100 sq ft. The bathroom is separate from the Tree House a 57 second walk. It is 216 sq.ft. The Tree House Retreat is located in the heart of historic Denton a small southern town . Located on a small mountain, but close to everything. I am within walking distance to Harrison Park, shops, restaurants, and shops We are 5 minutes to : Local restaurants, Grocery store, Red Box, Library, Post Office, Denton Museum,Harrison Park, and Park Place We are 15 minutes to: Denton Threshers Reunion,Denton Farm Park, High Rock Lake, Tucker Town Lake, Badin Lake We are 30 minutes to: Uwharrie National Forrest High Point Furniture Market, Dan Nicolas Park, North Carolina Zoo, Morrow Mountain State Park, Morgan's Ridge Winery, Lexington BBQ, Childress Winery, Childress Racing Museum, Thomasville Antique Emporium. I live in the heart of downtown Denton.. I'm on a little mountain, with plenty of privacy. Everything you need is a easy 5 minute drive. Grocery store, restaurants, laundromat, drug store etc. I live on the same mountain, so I am always nearby. I enjoy giving visitor's directions, recommendations, local history, etc. if you need me for anything I am a text message away. Please Note- Any dogs visiting my Tree House Retreat must be kept on a leash at ALL times. A past Airbnb guest allowed her dog out, and the dog killed our old matriarch cat of 15 years IZ who was asleep in her favorite chair. Thank you for being responsible and considerate while visiting. I have 8 other outside cats who call my little mountain their home. My community is very quite and respectful of one another. People take their time here and no one is in a hurry. The Tree House Retreat is located in the heart of downtown. I also, live right beside the old city lake. I have a Hobbit Village you can look at, and chairs if you would like to fish.The Town of Denton has many events and my little house is a easy 1 mile walk or a 5 minute car ride to downtown. These events include Antique and Collectibles Festival, Christmas Parade, Denton Street Festival, Park Place, Harrison Park 5k run, Tour De Kale,Denton Watermellon Festival,Farmers Market. !5 minutes drive is the Denton Farm Park, Denton Thresher Reunion. Denton is a very small community. In the middle of no where, but close to everything. My Tree House Retreat is a 2 minute drive to the center of town. I often walk into town being that its exactly 1 mile, or a easy bike ride. There you will find places to eat, buy groceries, go to the laundromat etc. Its a 15 minute drive to High Rock lake, Denton Farm Park, and Badin Lake. A 30 minute drive to the North Carolina Zoo, or Uwharrie National Forrest. I have two kayaks, paddle's,life jacket's, for anyone wanting to explore the many rivers and lakes around Denton. 15 dollars per kayaks.
