This spacious farmhouse offers character, comfort and room to make lasting memories. Set within peaceful surroundings within walking distance of the coast, it’s the perfect place to reconnect while exploring the spectacular West Wales coastline. The space The farmhouse has three bedrooms: a kind-size bedroom and a double bedroom both with south facing wooded valley views, and a twin bedroom perfect for children and friends. Two bathrooms include an upstairs bathroom fitted with bath + shower attachment and a ground floor wet-room with walk-in shower. There is a large practical farmhouse kitchen with a modern state of the art 'Everhot' cooker along with a traditional Welsh Dresser. The sunny dining room has a large central dining table and is a space where guests can play the piano or choose a book from the vast library that guests are welcome to discover. A snug sitting room provides a space to relax by the TV or cosy up alongside the open fire. The separate garden room with doors onto the south facing terrace provides added space where the family can spread out and have their own space. On sunny mornings, throw open the french doors, wake up with a freshly brewed coffee and stroll into the private secluded garden. Listen to birdsong and perhaps a bleating sheep and soak up the peace and tranquility on your doorstep. Outside there is ample parking for two cars on the private drive and the extensive hidden garden even has its own Wendy house for younger family members to play safely. This is a place to rediscover the natural rural environment, away from busy roads, offering peaceful, restful and restorative escape. You may wish you were staying longer! Upstairs there is a king room, a double room and a third bedroom with a single bed and a cabin bed. There is a small dressing room/cot room and a bathroom. The farmhouse has central heating throughout. Enjoy the private enclosed garden and south facing terrace overlooking the wooded valley with garden furniture and barbecue. Guest access Guests can make full use of the garden, the play house and garden furniture. Our piano is there for the careful and considerate use of our musical guests. Please note there is a small pond in the garden and small children should be supervised at all times Other things to note The location of Pendre just a 35 minute walk or short drive from the Wales Coast Path and secluded coves and beaches of Cardigan Bay is the envy of many and a key reason why our guests return again and again. Wildlife is abundant with Red Kites, Seals and Dolphins frequent visitors to this beautiful and lesser known part of West Wales. A peaceful retreat for a summer or out of season break. Our farmhouse is ideal for guests who appreciate historic character—if anything isn’t quite right during your stay, please tell us so we can fix it immediately.
