Experience the Pearl St Cottage in the heart of German Village! This two bedroom historic home has an outdoor space, a large eat-in kitchen with an island and a dedicated office space. Located just two blocks from Schiller Park and surrounded by great bars and restaurants, you'll enjoy all German Village has to offer. No need to worry about parking, the driveway fits two cars. The space The large king bedroom is located on the first floor. There is a closet and dresser for storage. A hair dryer and clothing iron are available for use as well as an extra heavy blanket in the dresser. Please note, there is an exterior door in the king bedroom. The relaxing queen bedroom is located on the second floor. There is a small clothing rack for storage. There is also a hair dryer, hand-held steamer and extra blanket for use. There is a curtain for the window at night - just hang it on the small hooks when needed. During the day, let the sun shine through the original arched window. The dedicated office space upstairs has a built-in desk which can be used for work or for getting ready (two small vanity mirrors are on the shelves). Take a seat in the comfy lounge chair to read a book or answer a few emails while you relax under the sky light. The newly renovated bathroom is located on the first floor next to the kitchen. The bathroom has a zero-entry, walk-in shower (no tub). Pantene Shampoo & Dove Body Wash are provided. Since the bathroom is small, hair dryers and mirrors are located in each bedroom for "getting ready" areas. The upstairs office doubles as a vanity, with vanity mirrors on the desk shelves and a plug beneath for hair tools. Guest access Guest have full, private access to the entire house, backyard space and driveway. Other things to note PET POLICY: If you are traveling with your dog, please reach out to me prior to booking to confirm the breed, weight and that they are house trained. Dogs (under 65lbs, non-aggressive breeds) are allowed for a Pet Fee of $30. No more than two pets per reservation. Sorry, no cats. Dogs are not allowed to be left home alone. Please add your pet as a 'pet' guest when booking so the fee is included. NOTE FOR RESERVATION CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS: Reservation change requests that decrease the number of nights will follow the cancellation policy of the reservation (either Firm (full refund more than 30 days before check-in, 50% refund 7-30 days before check in, no refund within 7 days of check-in) or Non-refundable). Requests to move a reservation to outside the cancellation window will not be accepted. If you anticipate changes to your reservation, please purchase travel insurance as the change/cancellation policy is strictly enforced. There are two exterior Ring cameras. One facing the driveway with a motion-censored light to help navigate in the dark. The other is on the front exterior door facing the sidewalk and street. Both exterior cameras record video and audio, including during reservations. There are no cameras inside the house.
