Reserve all bedrooms in historic Holladay House!

The Holladay House, built in phases starting around 1830, is the second-oldest building in downtown Orange. The home has hosted prominent local families, the local doctor, a dentist's office, and even a wedding reception attended by J.E.B. Stuart. Renovated in 2021, the Holladay House can be your home base for: touring area historical attractions and wineries, attending a wedding, attending UVA events, and much more. You can book the entire house (this listing) or individual rooms . The space Guests will have six bedrooms: four bedrooms on the 2nd floor and two on the walk-out basement floor. The first floor, which has an entrance on Main St., has the common area study, parlor, and dining room. Five of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms; one bedroom has its bathroom across the hall. Your hosts live in and use a few private areas in the home (laundry, home office, kitchen). Guest access Guests take a driveway down the east/right side of the house down to our 6-car gravel parking lot. Initial entry is via the basement door using a keypad lock. The code is provided in the welcome message 1-2 days before arrival. The welcome message will also contain directions for getting the individual bedroom keys. During your stay We live on the first floor of the house - guest rooms are upstairs and downstairs from 1F - and enjoy hearing our guests' stories. If that's not your style, no worries! You can chat as much or as little as you like, no offense taken! If you need us, call or message me during the day or knock on our door at night. Other things to note Three bedrooms have Roku TV and three have Xfinity Stream (hosts can only display one streaming service when creating a listing on AirBnB). There is PLENTY to watch on our subscriptions, but if there are particular programs or sports games you want to watch during your stay, you are welcome to use your own device and streaming account(s) to watch them.
