A rustic 2 bedroom cottage amidst the wilderness The space The Tamarai - Yelagiri, is an earthy one of a kind farm stay situated on 12 acres of lush landscape in Yelagiri Hills surrounded by green valleys with only 6 exclusive single cottages and one double cottage on the entire property. Situated 160 kms from Bangalore and 225 kms from Chennai. This unique private property is constructed with eco-friendly material and is a perfect spot to enjoy nature at its very best. The property is home to birds like parrots, bulbuls, tailor birds, sparrows and you can spot peacocks if you take a walk at dawn. The place itself is perfect to spend your entire stay there, with its serenity, gorgeous views, stargazing and the pristine air. If you would like to go around the town to explore there is a nature park, musical fountain, aquarium, birds park, Jalagamparai Waterfalls, trekking, and a lake which offers boating, and the walk to the lake is laden with local farmers selling fresh fruit and vegetable, street food and ice cream stalls. We offer barbecue equipment, bonfires and tents as well at an additional cost. Currently we do not provide meals at the property and are working hard to make that available for you. The property is located 4 kms from the centre of town where you can find a whole street of restaurants for meals. Our property does not have wifi, this is your time to unwind, relax and give those work emails a break. The area covers phone networks like Vodafone, Airtel, idea , jio etc. If you are looking for a place to get away from your busy city life this is the place for you.
