Slide them into the closets to keep them out of your way! Guest access You may park two cars in the driveway - park on the far left side (as far over as you can as this is a shared driveway) - line the front of your car up with the "Guest" sign, please. Additional cars may be parked on the street. The door to the Airbnb is the left door on the front of the house (with the "hello" welcome mat), use the keypad lock with your dedicated code to enter. The neighborhood is small and the neighbors are friendly! Feel free to walk around the sidewalks, or head out to the bike path if you want to explore farther out. Airport Park and Bayside Park are both less than 2 miles away from the Airbnb and are accessible by car, bike, or on foot. Airport Park is a 64.5 acre park with a number of amenities, including a basketball court, tennis courts, Pickleball courts, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, a playground, walking/jogging trails, and 2 fully-lit outdoor ice skating rinks in the winter! A large 100-person pavilion, picnic tables, and restrooms make Airport Park a great place to spend a day outdoors. There's even a circa 1815 log schoolhouse on the property that now serves as a museum (with limited hours). The park is located on the Island Line Trail (bike path) for easy access to the Causeway and a 30-minute bike ride to Church Street in Burlington. Bayside Park is smaller, at 22 acres, but includes Bayside Beach - a free, public beach with lifeguards and kayak/paddleboard rentals (rentals available from mid-June through Labor Day). In addition to the beach, there's a skate park, basketball court, tennis/Pickleball courts, shuffleboard, volleyball courts, a playground, a 150-person pavilion, and more! Other things to note This apartment is the upstairs unit in a duplex. The downstairs unit is another rental and is soundproofed, but please be respectful and try to avoid stomping and heavy footsteps. The apartment can only be accessed via an interior staircase (2nd floor). Unfortunately, this apartment is not animal-friendly. One of our cleaners has a severe animal allergy that can be life-threatening - the presence of hair, dander, or saliva can cause anaphylaxis. Please be respectful of her health and safety. We are committed to providing you with a beautiful space that you can enjoy. The apartment is professionally cleaned before every stay using environmentally-friendly products. Complimentary laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are all provided. Use what you need and please leave the rest. They're full-size bottles, not the hotel size that you can toss in your luggage before you leave. Thank you! This home is on a septic system, which means that nothing other than human waste and toilet paper can be flushed down the toilet. Please consider our sensitive septic system before flushing anything else. Wrap it up and toss it in the bathroom garbage, please!
