We are between 10/30 mins from 3 of the 7stanes cycling trails and 6 miles from several beaches or hills for walking. You are 5 mins drive away from the market town of Castle Douglas. The space The Byre is a spacious, vaulted newly converted barn conversion. Everything has been done to top standard. We have quirky dressing tables and a 72", fireplace for you to relax in front of. Outside is dog /child proof large wraparound patio with plenty outdoor furniture for Dining or relaxing. Gas bbq and gas patio Heater for watching our famous Dark Skies. Guest access You have full use of the Byre and enclosed garden and driveway. You are welcome to walk on our private farm roads that join our farms together. There is enough parking for easily 4/5 cars in front off the barn. Other things to note We now accept 2 night breaks (excluding June, July and August ) Xmas bookings are a minimum of 4nights 2026 I only accept minimum 7 nights Friday to Friday , bookings in June, July and August Maximum 2 dogs We do not allow charging of electric cars.
