Enjoy this 3+ bedroom/3.5 bathroom home in the Sandy Creek area of Lake Martin. 35 minutes to Auburn, this home is in a small, peaceful cove-great area for paddle boarding & kayaking. Big water is just a few houses away for more lake activities. Boat not included in rental; however, you are welcome to bring your own & tie at one of the two docks. Public launch 5 minutes away at DARE Power Park. NOTE: LAKE WATER LEVELS ARE DROPPED FROM APPROX MID OCT UNTIL MID APRIL. Open kitchen, living room and dining room on the main level. Dining table with seating for 8 and counter seating for an additional 3. Outdoor dining seating for 4 on each of the 2 back porches. There's also a table and 6 chairs on one of the two docks! Lower level features another living room with additional bar seating, wet bar and television. Plenty of space on property to park a boat or jet skis with trailers. PLEASE BE AWARE: Lake waters begin to drain in October reaching low pool the middle /end of November. Our slough (cove) has very low water levels in winter so motor boat operation is not possible. Water levels begin to rise in March and are at full pool by end of April. We are available via Airbnb message and cell/text. Do not hesitate to contact us. We are in a quiet neighborhood very close to the Smith Mountain fire tower and trails. 2 miles to DARE Park which includes public boat ramp, fishing pier and an amazing play ground. There are two covered parking spots with additional parking in the driveway. Dogs under 20 pounds are welcome as long as they are not left unattended inside or outside the property. There will be a non refundable $200 pet fee charged for a pet stay and you are required to clean up after your dog. All pet stays need to be approved by owners prior to booking.
