Beautiful Pagosa Springs home with National Forest Access

Welcome to serenity in the tall pines. We are located in one of Colorado's most beautiful and idyllic towns. Our home is five minutes from a brewery and five steps away from pristine mountain trails and open space, or a ten minute drive to down town Pagosa Springs or 30 miles from world class skiing at Wolf Creek Ski Area. This home is nestled amongst tall pines. Just a few steps out of the back gate and you enter Green Belt open space with trails for walking, hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing and horseback riding. The trail eventually takes you into the pristine San Juan National Forest with all of its beauty and abundant wildlife. This is an all season home where the roads are always plowed, which always makes for an easy 10 minute drive to town. This home is large and very accommodating. There are over 3100 square feet with three bedrooms on the main level, two additional bedroom spaces and one shared bath on the upper level and a bunk room for the kids with four bunkbeds and a sleeper sofa. This home was designed with families and kids in mind. The bunkroom is a great hangout place for your kids. There is a 50" TV in the bunk room with a larger variety of movies that the kids can watch, or bring their favorites. The beauty of the pines make for breathtaking views from the rear covered porch, master bedroom, living room and the kitchen. The home has a large living and dining area. The kitchen is large and open, with a second dining table and counter where your family and friends can pull up a seat and interact while you cook. The kitchen is stocked with all of the basics so that guests do not have to reinvent the wheel on their stay here. The formal dining table and the kitchen table combined comfortably seat fourteen. We have wireless internet access that is available throughout the house. But more than anything, you will enjoy and be awe struck with the fantastic views from every one of the many windows in the house and the immediate access to skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, golfing, and numerous other outdoor activities. A favorite activity is sitting on the decks admiring the beauty and watching the sunset and keeping an eye out for the many deer that cross the paths behind our home. You will find it extremely quiet and serene at my home. After a long, wonderful day on the ski slopes, the hiking trails or the golf course, or just relaxing and leisurely walking around down town Pagosa Springs, enjoy a relaxing dip at the Hot Springs.
