Take a break and unwind at this peaceful farmhouse cottage in the stunning Peak District National Park. A haven for outdoor enthusiasts and a walker's paradise with Mam Tor less than a mile away and the beautiful village of Castleton less than 4 miles away. Come and walk The Great Ridge or explore Kinder Scout and then spend the evening relaxing by the log burner. This charming cottage is a wonderful base to discover all that the Peak District has to offer. The space Hillside Farm Cottage has a lovely kitchen with a dining table and chairs. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, microwave and kettle along with the usual crockery and utensils. In the lounge there is a wonderful log burner to spend cosy nights in after a busy day exploring the area and a starter basket of wood will be provided. New leather sofas have been purchased for extra comfort and we provide a dog basket & bowls for the comfort of any furry friends you may wish to bring. We provide an Amazon fire stick so that guests can log into their own accounts and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs. There is a handy downstairs toilet and sink. On the second floor there are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a king size bed with beautiful views over the valley. This room has a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and a Television. There are additional pillows in the wardrobe if required and hairdryers in both bedrooms. The second bedroom contains two single beds which on request can be made into a super king size bed. There is a wardrobe and cabinet and television. The view from the window also overlooks the beautiful valley. The bathroom on the second floor has a bath, with an overhead shower, sink and toilet. There is also a secure out house for bicycles. The cottage is decorated at Christmas for that extra special feeling. Other things to note There is a bus stop at the top of the drive that goes to the Hope Valley including Edale, Hope and Castleton. The route goes both ways and also goes to Buxton. The bus is number 62, please google High Peak Buses to see the timetable.
