At the entrance to the Village, just below Largo da Escola, Casa da Esquina was once a haystack where the late Uncle João Louro, owner of the land, kept the donkeys in charge of working the fields and carrying the straw and hay. It has 2 bedrooms on the first floor, one of them with a beautiful balcony for the Travessa da Fonte, which still makes good water flow from the mine, on the way to Eira do Sobreiro.
