You can expect the normal deterioration of a building in that period of time and that's one of the reasons why the price per night is so low. Besides that, be informed that you may find small damages in the furniture caused by previous guests. This is NOT a 5 stars hotel, it's a low cost apartment with excellent features and lots of amenities. ● CANCELLATION POLICY: Strict: Guests have a 48-hour window after booking to cancel for free, as long as the stay starts at least 14 days later. Up to seven days before check-in, guests can get a refund that's 50% of the total nightly rate and the cleaning fee, but they forfeit the service charge. If the guest cancels less than seven days before or leaves the stay early, there's no refund for the nights not spent (Only 3% of experienced hosts have a flexible cancellation policy) | Refunds available only if there's great damage. Walk Score is a private company that provides walkability services and apartment search tools through a website and mobile applications. ● FREE LEGAL AND NIGHTLIFE ADVICE: Since I'm a lawyer and I also work on entertainment, you get FREE unlimited legal advice regarding Colombian matters during booking and free tickets to go out in different bars/nightclubs close to the apartment. Guest access ● PARKING: The building has paid parking and it is very cheap. We recommend booking it in advance. ● SAFETY: The neighborhood is one of the safest in the city. Bogotá and Colombia are no longer those violent and dangerous places they used to be in the 80's and 90's, nevertheless, we strongly recommend you to avoid: 1) Use of your cellphone in dark streets; 2) the use big amounts of money in cash. (Same recommendations of any other big city in the world). ● SUPERMARKET/CONVENIENCE STORE: 2 of the biggest convenience stores of the country are located 1 or 2 blocks from the apartment CARULLA and ARA (the cheapest one). CARULLA is open 24/7. You can find all kinds of food, cleaning products and anything you may need there. A Colombian coffee (TOSTAO) is very close as well ● MALL: UNICENTRO is the biggest and more traditional mall in Colombia and it is just 5 minutes away from home (walking distance). ● HEALTH CARE: 24 hour pharmacy is just a few blocks away from home. ● RESTAURANTS: Hundreds of them are very close (less than 200 meters) and most of them have a delivery service that sends the food to the apartment. We can provide the number of our favorite restaurants in the area, the list includes almost everything (Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Thai, French, Colombian, etc). ● TOURISTIC PLACES: We recommend you to visit these touristic places: Monserrate, Gold Museum, National Museum, La Candelaria, Zona G (best restaurants of the city), Zona T (bars, pubs and restaurants) and 93 Park (family park with great restaurants and bars).
