The 1+ acre property allows for an attached apartment which includes a bedroom with both queen and full beds, a bathroom with a large shower, a liv/kit/din. room and a back deck with grill access and a new screened front porch. The space The approach to this one level cottage apartment is across a causeway with a small lake on one side and Sebasco Harbor on the opposite. The neighborhood is terrific for walking and biking with a tidal small craft boat launch, a town boat landing, an ice cream stand, two restaurants, and golf available. Sea Rose Cottage is nestled within a private dead end road only accessible to 9 cottages. The over an acre lot allows for privacy and quiet. Guests have deeded access to a tidal property within a 1 minute walk from the front yard. The cottage is cosy casual with new kitchen appliances , couch, bed mattresses and a screened in porch. Some decor is coastal themed with other items from my travels and overseas job placements. The kitchen is well supplied with dishes, glasses, cooking and baking pots and pans. As the owner is next door additional kitchen items are readily available. A back deck is nearly exclusive to guests, only sharing a grill with the owner. Just off the deck are two new herb beds that you are welcome to snip basil, lemon balm, chives, and other numerous herbs for your meals you prepare here. Bring your kayaks and launch in the neighborhood or at other nearby sites and consider attaching your bikes for exploring the neighborhood and beyond. If you do not have kayaks they can easily be rented through Sea Spray who will deliver or register for a guided kayaking tour. Guest access Guests have their own comfortable two rooms, plus a spacious bathroom to themselves, and exclusive front and back entrances and your own parking space. A front screened in porch was added this past year. As an apartment, no interior space is shared. The one shared wall , a hallway, has been insulated to stifle most noise between apartment and main home. The back deck is only for clients use with a shared gas grill. Guests have access to the front yard and lawn games are provided. Parking is limited to two cars on the property at any one time electric cars will have to charge elsewhere like at the neighboring resort. Up to four guests can be accommodated including children. Sleeping accommodations are flexible with both queen and full size beds in the large bedroom, and a pull out couch with a full bed option. in the living room. Wifi, heat and air conditioning are available for your convenience and comfort. The entire apartment is supported by an automatic generator so you will be comfortable in all weather conditions. The nearby resort's offerings, neighboring hiking trails, and small craft boat launch are available without using a car. Other things to note Bath and kitchen towels and bedding along with paper and cleaning products are provided. Please use the foot bucket beach wash tub before entering the unit when returning from the water or beach or utilize a nearby hose. Due to neighborhood access and driveway restrictions no more than two cars may be on the property. Your allotted parking space is for one vehicle, a secondary vehicle would have to park in my driveway. Ask if you want a temporary exception for visitors. No pets are allowed at any time on the property. This is a non smoking property. I will provide you with local emergency information upon your arrival or I can email you the information ahead. Be aware of tick defense strategies. Check the bulletin board for information. The water access right of way is available to launching small craft most comfortably from mid tide. At low tide be aware of mud flats to navigate. This is a ground level property though navigating 5-6 steps is necessary to gain access both in the front and back.
